"The United Methodist Church has grown tepid in response to a bold gospel, and over the next few years God is calling us to fundamentally remake the church so that it is powerful, engaging, inclusive, and effective. I can see us moving through our current anxiety, division, and confusion into a church that is making disciples of new generations who are committed to changing the world with Christ’s love. My ministry has focused on leading leaders through times of chaos and joining them on their journey into an effective future for their churches and organizations. I believe that this is a special moment of transition for our denomination and that together we can be a part of giving birth to a new, relevant, and thriving United Methodist Church."
